MASHUP MONDAYS: CEE-T – Happy x Hey Ya!
No idea who CEE-T is, but we’ve just stumbled upon this groovy mashup of Pharrel’s megahit ‘Happy’ and the old but gold pop-rap ‘Hey Ya’ by Outkast. Really loving how CEE-T has moved the lyrics around a bit – it doesn’t exactly fit, but for some reason it sounds great!
We’re very excited to hear Outkast will be reforming this year to celebrate their 20th anniversary! You can see them at a number of festivals in the USA, and they’ll be performing at Bestival here in the UK in June. Huge.
