Rihanna – BBHMM (LUCA LUSH X BRASSTRACKS REMIX)

Rihanna’s ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ is one of my guilty pleasures at the moment. A bit deeper and darker than standard pop, though the record has got big it has escaped radio play. Rihanna seems to exerting her inner rap-star, and the Kanye West influence is clear.

Luca Lush and Brasstracks turn BBHMM into a pulsating, fast paced and eclectic dance track – so much so it’s almost unrecognisable save for the vocals. After a huge first cover the brass section takes over and the track is transformed from a dirty house tune into a lazy but upbeat, French touch wonder. Perfect Saturday night fodder.
