Usher – Good Kisser (BAESIC Remix)

Stay with this one. With a little bit of a slow start you might be put off but wait until those pre-chorus lush chords drop in. Mellow. We don’t know a huge amount about LA based Baesic, other than it’s the name 18/19 year old Maddie likes to put tunes out on. But with a … Continue reading

XY&O – Chameleon (Famba Remix)

Taking things a little deeper this week are Famba, remixing XY&O’s ‘Chameleon’. With chilled vibes throughout, the remix doesn’t stray to far from the deepness of the original, stripping away the soft experimental guitars and adding a housier sound. From the initial soft piano into the pop styled drop, I’m a huge fan of this … Continue reading

Years & Years – Desire (BUNT. Edit)

With an opening that reminds me a little to much of ‘Wonderwall’, luckily BUNT steer clear of the Britpop and move into what they call folk house. Flume – Say It ft. Tove Lo (Illenium Remix)

In the UK Flume’s ‘Say It’ was his first foray into mainstream music, featuring vocals from the ever growing Tove Lo. With Illenium on remix duties you’ll hear a track that stays pretty true to the original before dropping into a much bassier melodic chorus. Simple, but effective.

Beyonce – Formation (Nuiance Remix)

Similar to the Laibert remix of ‘Formation’ that we posted soon after its release, this time Nuiance takes the track in a more chilled out direction. Stripped back and mellowed out, it’s Beyonce meets lounge meets French touch meets funk. With only three tracks on soundcloud, Seoul based Inyoung Choi has really perked our interest!

Danelle – Chairs (Ronin Remix)

With a very chilled out vibe, Danelle’s ‘Chairs’ is the perfect track to usher in autumn in the UK. With a slowly building following, the Los Angeles based singer has formed something of an alliance with producer Salda. Ronin’s remix stays pretty true to the original, bringing the vocals to the top of the mix, … Continue reading
