Khamsin – Space (feat. M. Maggie)

Taking a chilled step back is the piano focused ‘Space’ by Parisien Khamsin and vocals from M. Maggie. The third single to be taken from his debut EP, Leaving (which also features a collab with FS favourite Le Marquis), ‘Space’ definitely sets a darker scene. M Maggie is poet and songwrited based in the US, … Continue reading

XY&O – Chameleon (Famba Remix)

Taking things a little deeper this week are Famba, remixing XY&O’s ‘Chameleon’. With chilled vibes throughout, the remix doesn’t stray to far from the deepness of the original, stripping away the soft experimental guitars and adding a housier sound. From the initial soft piano into the pop styled drop, I’m a huge fan of this … Continue reading

Andres Sierra – Maxed Out (Rogerseventytwo Remix)

Loving the mix of deep house and pop with this remix of Andres Siestra’s ‘Maxed Out’ by Rogerseventytwo. Sierra hails from Toronto, Canada and with a very strong 90s vibe to the original ‘Maxed Out’ almost sounds like it could have been on a Salt n Pepa album. A relative newcomer to the scene it … Continue reading

The Him – Balance (Ft Oktavian)

You may remember The Him from last year with a remix of Robin Schulz’s headlights. Since then there have been a few good releases that just passed us by! It’s hard not to notice ‘Balance’. A pop-styled, Zhu inspired vocals, amazing basslines, piano and a very slick, deep house drop make this one something of … Continue reading

Alan Walker – Faded (Chris Viviano & SJUR Remix)

Though I’m not the biggest fan of the original, Norwegian producers Chris Viviano and SJUR (who you might remember from his remix of Pitbull), certainly crank things up a notch with this deep house/progressive remix. Expect piano backed verses, explosive drops and an overdriven hook to keep things upbeat.

Prince Fox – Fragile (feat. Hailee Steinfeld)

Prince Fox is back with another original and this one has a full single release. ‘Fragile’ is definitely more on the the pop spectrum in comparison to earlier releases, with piano-backed ballad verses and an electronic chorus and bridge. Expect to be hearing more of this soon!
