Traveler – Forget Me (Original Mix)

After a number of remixes under their belts, it’s only natural for American duo Traveler to try their hand at a first original since re-launching. I have to say I was hugely excited to hear this and haven’t been disappointed. Though what ‘Forget Me’ lacks in the instant recognisable sounds of the remixes, it makes … Continue reading

Gigamesh – History (Ft. Damon C Scott)

One of the biggest players on the scene, it’s always nice to hear something new from Gigamesh and this one is a certified banger. Dripping in cool, ‘History’ makes me think of Gregory Porter with effortless vocals from Damon C Scott. With a debut studio album on the way, ‘History’ has very much got us … Continue reading

Sam Feldt – Shadows Of Love (ft. Heidi Rojas)

Premiered at Ultra last week, Sam Feldt has churned out yet another big record with ‘Shadows of Love’ (and if you haven’t heard ‘Hungry Eyes‘ you’ll be in for a pleasant surprise!) This one reminds me of early days Avicii blended against Duke Dumont, with a very big hook and catchy vocals opening up a … Continue reading

Aeroplane – Let’s Get Slow Feat. Benjamin Diamond

How long has Aeroplane been away for? It seems like ages… ‘Let’s Get Slow’ takes us back to some of the best, with a very groovy 80s styled into before dropping into a post-futuristic (and dare I say it Random Access Memories infused) chorus. Check it out.

The Knocks – Time

The Knocks are fast becoming one my favourite artists over the last 6 months. After the furiously laid back ‘Classic’, the effortlessly sexy ‘Comfortable’ and the groovy disco vibe in ‘Collect My Love’, yet again the American dup delve into a motown inspired, poppy yet sophisticated style for ‘Time’. Genius. Check it out.
